Flu Vaccinations

At J & J Pharmacy LTD we have started seasonal NHS flu vaccinations running from the 3rd of October. The flu vaccine helps protect against flu, which can be a serious or life-threatening illness. It's offered on the NHS every year in autumn or early winter to people at higher risk of getting seriously ill from flu. Please note, this is a walk in service so you do not have to book and all patients must be 18 years of age or over. We have a dedicated consultation room to ensure your privacy during your vaccination. For any enquiries please contact 01905 354651.

You can get the free NHS flu vaccine if you:

  • -are aged 65 or over
  • -are pregnant
  • -are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer's allowance
  • -have certain medical conditions including: asthma and COPD, heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, neurological disease, diabetes.

If you are not in the eligible group and you wish to have the flu vaccination then there is a charge of £16.50 per vaccine.
